Morning all
Apr. 12th, 2011 01:53 pmI'm back. Just wanted to say hello before I started work.
Novel Progress Update:
The first draft is about eighty five percent done, worts and all. I've near done writing the ending(I jumped forward several chapters. Sue me!) and and I'm going to write the remaining chapters retrospectively.
Ain't no rules to this thing except getting it done. All the structural and plot problems can be sorted out later. Get the story on paper. Get it done!
Its been an utter joy watching my characters grow and mature on page. It's been a revelation to watch as my story grew from a vague idea into a fully blown manuscript. All my character are real to me. I feel their pain, their love, their heart ache. They live and breath. I want the best for all of them, but all of them are going to go through hell and back first.
Poor sods.
Wow. Why didn't I do this sooner?
Anyway. Back to work. But before that, I believe that I owe a certain Mr Martin an email......
