I've spent the evening reread Crying Freeman. And been looking at the way Ryoichi Ikegami constructs both his figures and at his linework. How he shows portrays body language and posture. Ye Gods. Ikegami's brushwork is so fucking sexy

The way he renders drapery and folds in clothing with a simple brush stroke is breathtaking.
