Who influences you?

Who's artwork or performances or music inspires you to be creative?

I've been compiling a list of people whose body of work continues to inspire or who have inspired me in the past and it quite a revelation to look at some of the names on the list. Some of these peoples work I haven't enjoyed since i was a child. Other have continued to influence me into adulthood.

Its a strange thing to see name on a list. Name with no attracted significance, save only to the person whose writing them.

So. Who influences you? Who gets your creative juices flowing? It can be anyone. Go on. Who?

My friend Luke http://chaosroyale.com/ once gave me a Vanilla Ice CD to listen to anytime I wanted to be inspired. No matter how bad what I do artistically is, it's not the worst.

Actually, when it comes to music, I find loud trancy dance clubs quite inspiring as I end up thinking what the music _should_ be doing.

For coding, again, I find most of the inspiration comes from frustration that it doesn't exist yet.
